"Store is involved in a false advertising scheme. Bought a "Masterguard" pillow with memory foam based on my experiences with a display model, was told "final sale", and was then given a pillow (AFTER the transaction and signing a paper for the sale) with completely different stuffing. If I had walked out of the store they would have likely used the sale agreement to refuse refund/replacement.
Staff immediately expressed surprise at the difference between what I was just given and the model on display, and instead sold me the display model. I do not believe the store staff I interacted with were responsible for this scam, but management here clearly is.
It's possible the manufacturer has changed the contents of this pillow such that the older pillow on display no longer was representative of the item being sold to customers. Due to the nature of the sale process (payment and signature before being presented the purchased item), I strongly believe this store is involved in an illegal advertising scheme. Other products on display may not be indicative of the items sold."
